i need a birthday card to get to south bound brook, nj by september 7th. if im sending it from north san diego, ca when would i need to send it. i dont want it to get there too early, and i sure dont want it to arrive late.

In accordance with USPS standards it should take a maximum of 3 delivery days for the letter to arrive in New Jersey, provided of course, that it is properly addressed, as the mail is now autimated and and run by zip codes.
Best answer to this would be...check with your post office. OR....if you know someone else in Bound Brook, NJ, put your addressed birthday card inside a larger envelope and mail it to that person with a note asking that they give it to the birthday girl (or boy) on the 7th.
