I accidentally installed Windows Vista twice, and now I'm trying to delete the Windows boot files from the messed up download. The only 2 folders left are Windows and Program Files, but when I try to delete them it says I need permission. I've already turned off User Account Control, any ideas?
How do I delete Windows Vista files?anti virus scan
Right-click the folders and choose Permissions (or properties --%26gt; permissions, I forgot which) and change yourself to be the owner. Then you can delete them.
Sorry, I don't have step-by-step instructions as I don't have Vista at the moment (I did before)...
