I have Windows Vista and how do I fix my contrast?

I play a movie and the contrast seems messed up

There's NO contrast blend.

Makes movies look bad

Where can I go to fix it?

Depends on what your playing the movie on. If you use windows media player. Just right click to the left of now playing and go down to view, and enhancements and click show enhancements and go through them and you can change the contrast.
