Hey Natalia,

You must have your video editing software open when you're trying to import video into the computer, check out this guide I wrote on uploading video to computer.

This is generalized due to lack of info on vcam %26 pc:

Video Editing Process

CAPTURE video stream-miniDV vcamX/ IMPORT files from Hdd, Dvd or Flash Media vcamY and/or pc folders, EDIT to create muvee as a project, FINISH (render / save) muvee and /or, SHARE 鈥urn to CD/DVD.

for starters, XP/ Windows Movie Maker (wmm*) provides the simple %26 easy way (%26 free) to learn the ropes %26lt; click Help for details%26gt;. (Note: Convert video files if not supported by video editing app)

Steps:

CAPTURE VIDEO

a.) Connect miniDV vcamX to pc via firewire cable (4 or 6 pin) for good transfer (USB can do but possibly drop frames affecting quality)

b.) Set vcam mode to playback desired video, set for capture, pause

c.) Open wmm* and set to TASKS pane
