Do not waste your time, System Restore is not to bring back deleted files like mp3 files, pictures or documents. It is intended to take a picture of your system (registry) mostly before you install programs that could end up affecting your OS performance.

If you mean using XP's "Restore points", you can't do it. The restore points are certain system settings and DLL files, not all the "user data".

If, on the other hand, you made an actual backup of your system to CD/DVD/Tape/External hard drive, AND you backed up the files in question, yes, you can restore. In that case, use what ever backup software you used to make the backup, it will give you the option to restore the files.
