if you unistall WMP you won't be able to listen to your music or watch your vids..but if you have another media player like realplayer,fusion media player you can listen to your music and watch your vids....i sugesst download ZOOM profressional media player and install it..that way you won't need to unistall WMP,zoom player supoorts mostly all codecs..i use it and its good..
