I am using vista but everytime i log in, my settings for the start button has changed. Help?

I am using a IBM T43. That's why there is no start button.

Just an extra thing. Videos dont come with a video. just sound. Help as well?

note: not all ibm laptop has a windows start button. you can use an alternative shortcut ctrl+esc at the same time to bring up the start button. depending on the video, you may need to download the codecs for it. example, wmv files are windows movie video files.
