How do i become the computer admitrator if i own a windows vista computer??

i would like an easy step-by-step instuction on how to become the computers administrator because i waould like to put some blocks on the computer for my daughters...

How are you so sure that you aren't already an administrator? If you're not or to check, go to control panel and look under the users section. There are also parental controls here.

The first account is automatically and administrator. Only an administrator can give another user administrator status.

You will need to log in as an administrator or as the first account created to give your account administrator status.
With windows vista you have "Parental Controls" What you do is create a user account for them and put a password on yours so that they have to use the other one. Then go to the control panel and enable parental controls on the new account. You will then have the options to allow or disable just about every function of that user account and i think it also keeps a log of what goes on and u can check it from your account.

By default Spoiled Princess, the original user account used to setup the system is the Administrator--your dad. This is so lame... ;)
The original set up is the administrator. Any second account you might set up will normally be set up as a guest account that you will let other people use on your computer, one where they can't make any major changes.
